OtO Photonics' SmartEngine (SE) series are compact Czerny-Turner cavity spectrometers available in a wide range of configurations to meet the demands of many applications.
SmartEngine's optical bench is compact and rigid, providing a stable platform enabling excellent thermal, shock and vibration performance with high optical resolution and sensitivity, low stray light, and fast response.
A choice of high performance CCD and CMOS sensors from leading manufacturers (Sony, Hamamatsu, Toshiba) are available, offering optimisations for characteristics such as deep-UV, UV or NIR-enhanced response; high sensitivity, dynamic range, SNR; high speed or high pixel count.
There are also three high performance processor platforms, developed in response to customer demand and to incorporate new technologies as they become available.

SmartEngine spectrometers can be specified with OtO's "PKG" Spectral Measurement Kit, a multi-function measurement solution designed to accommodate one or two SmartEngine spectrometers and a choice of light source. The rigid optical bench is machined to ensure easy alignment of spectrometer(s), light source and cuvette holder ensuring quick-and-easy setup and operation. A selection of colour (RGB) and Neutral Density filters are included, along with freespace and fibre collimators, adapters, and cuvettes - all housed in a rugged, waterproof storage and carrying case.
The inclusion of OtO's SpectraSmart software ensures that the PKG Spectral Measurement Kit is an ideal solution for teaching environments as well as a broad range of industrial, medical, pharmaceutical and environmental applications.
