High power fibre-coupled laser diodes are widely used in many industrial applications, such as printing and reprographics; graphic arts; material processing and sensing instruments.
Laser diodes need safe drive conditions and FiboTEC's expertise in high current and high speed laser drive circuits is used to full-effect in the FiboTYPE modules — providing excellent modulation characteristics whilst also protecting the laser diodes.
In addition FiboTEC's familiarity with handling optical fibre allows them to provide precisely aligned arrays of output fibres with additional focussing optics if required.
The choice of fibre-coupled laser diode used in the FiboTYPE module can be made by Fibotec based on a target specification or, where applicable, can be based on the customer’s own supply agreement or qualified vendor approval.
