LDX SelectionOur range of high-power single emitter multimode laser diodes from LDX Optronics includes devices from 1015nm to 1900nm.

 

LDX is focused on broad stripe multimode laser diodes with a strong offering in the more “esoteric” wavelengths, those outside of the more common 808nm, 980nm etc. LDX have an emphasis on red and IR wavelengths and offers the widest range in the industry, from 622nm to 1900nm.

 

Many of the esoteric wavelengths are less robust than the more common wavelengths and are much more heat sensitive, making heat management of these devices is critical for long-life. Skills from many years of experience are employed in the packaging of the LDX lasers which can be specified in a variety of open-heatsink and hermetically-sealed packages with options for monitor photodiode, fast-axis collimation, cooling, fibre connectors (SMA) and integrated optical fibres.
