OtO Photonics offer a choice of light sources for spectrometry. All of OtO's light sources are designed for easy integration with their PKG Spectral Measurement Kit - providing perfect alignment with cuvette holder and spectrometer.

LS-BA "Balance Light" Series: Halogen & LED

The LS-BA  "balance light source" combines a Halogen source with LEDs at 395nm and 430nm to broaden the spectrum and add power at these shorter wavelengths.

LS-DH-2 Deuterium-Halogen Light Source:

OtO's LS-DH-2 combines a Deuterium source for broad UV output with a Halogen source to provide up to 200-2500nm output. The two lamps can be controlled independently either manually or via software

AP Technologies also offers a wide range of fibre-coupled benchtop LED light sources from LumeDEL in the USA.

LumeDEL's NewDEL™ instruments are high-brightness, easy-to-use light sources designed for researchers and OEMs in a variety of medical, biotech, and industrial applications. The four product groups include single-LED sources from 275nm to 940nm as well as broadband sources. Additional wavelengths are available upon request.

The NewDEL platform was designed with flexibility and ease of use in mind. Each model comes with its own built-in driver and microcontroller circuitry, making it ready to use right out of the box. Users have complete control over a wide range of parameters, including delays, triggers, pulse durations, as well as PWM frequency and duty cycle.

The fibre-coupled LED instruments have been specifically designed to optimise output quality, catering to the demands of scientific applications. Employing pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming and passive thermal management, these LEDs deliver high radiant power with unwavering spectral stability while maximising lifespan and minimising energy consumption.
