AP Technologies is pleased to announce that Sensor Electronic Technology, Inc. (SETi) have released a new generation of high output UVC LEDs.

 

The new product, called S-S35D-F2-275-01-3-180, is an addition to SETI's SMD family intended to meet the needs of customers seeking high power from a small footprint. The new product has an output centred at 275nm and delivers 30mW of optical power at 350mA, 15mW at 150mA and 10mA at 100mA.

 

With a low cost of ownership, it has been developed for water sterilisation, medical, analytical instrumentation and biochemical analysis.

 

Customer‐Driven Development

 

The new LED is complimentary to other SMD products footprint offered by SETi. In addition the package has been redesigned with lower thermal resistance to accommodate the higher operating powers of this new device. Mr. Emmanuel Lakios, President and CEO of SETi commented "The launch of our high power UV products is part of our strategy to meet our customers' need for increasing output power at UV wavelengths nominally 275nm.” Mr. Lakios continued by saying “The 30mW output of the S-S35D-F2-275-01-3-180 demonstrates our commitment to maintaining SETi's leadership position in the Deep UV LED marketplace and our dedication to SETi’s continuous product performance program”.

 

Product Availability
