OtO Photonics' SideWinder Series of Czerny-Turner cavity spectrometers are specifically designed for operation in the near infrared region.
SideWinder spectrometers operating over a range of 900-1700nm are offered with a choice of 128-pixel (SW2520), 256-pixel (SW2530) and 512-pixel (SW2540) linear InGaAs sensors along with a one-stage TE-cooled 256-pixel (SW2830) version.
For a wider spectral range of 900-2500nm OtO's SW2850 features a two-stage cooled 256-pixel extended responsivity array.
All SideWinders incorporate high-performance on-board computation using 32bits RISC microcontrollers to achieve high sensitivity, high SNR, wide Dynamic Range and Resolution down to 2.1nm FWHM.
Uncooled SideWinders (SW25x0) offer Integration Times of 50µs to 15s (depending on sensor) and can be operated in both "High Gain" and "Low Gain" modes with up to 18-times higher sensitivity in High Gain mode. The cooled SideWinders have integration times of 100µs-24s (SW2850, 900-1700nm) and 100µs-200ms (900-2500nm, SW2850).
The addition of OtO's exclusive Dynamic Thermal Equilibrium (DTE) and stray light elimination calibration algorithm mean that Sidewinders provide high accuracy, speed and stability in a very compact package with attractive pricing.
