SW LogoOtO Photonics' SideWinder Series of Czerny-Turner cavity spectrometers are specifically designed for operation in the near infrared region.

 

SideWinder spectrometers operating over a range of 900-1700nm are offered with a choice of 128-pixel (SW2520), 256-pixel (SW2560) and 512-pixel (SW2570) linear InGaAs sensors along with a one-stage TE-cooled 256-pixel (SW2860) version.

 

For a wider spectral range of 900-2500nm OtO's SW2960 features a two-stage cooled 256-pixel extended responsivity array.

 

The two TE-cooled SideWinder models (SW2860 and SW2960) are both offered with an optional shutter which improves dark background level and these models (SW2860S and SW1960S) are the recommended versions.

Each SideWinder model is offered with a standard grating(s) but can be specified with a choice of Slit width to optimise the Resolution/Sensitivity compromise, these are shown below. When selecting the Slit size bear in mind that a narrower slit lets in fewer photons and so has lower Sensitivity.
